Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales - How Long To Beat & Complete ...

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is another excellent story in the Spider-Man universe from Insomniac Games. It is more of a spin-off game than a full sequel, but players can still expect a complete experience.

Whether there is homework due or a long list of other games to play, completing the story will take some time. Here's how long it takes to beat Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales for the lore seekers and the completionists out there.

Beating the Story

Miles' adventure is relatively short compared to Peter's journey. According to HowLongtoBeat, the average player finishes the primary campaign in about seven and a half hours. The fastest players will clock in at closer to 5 hours, with the gamers trying to stop and smell the roses finishing around 9 hours.

These playtimes are about half the average length of 2018's Marvel's Spider-Man story completion time. The shorter completion time is expected, considering that Insomniac Games said it would be "more akin to a game like Uncharted: The Lost Legacy." This is also why Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is at the lower price point of $49.99 on PlayStation 5.

This game is only part of Miles' story. The first game in the series tells Miles' spider bite and his introduction to Peter. Players looking for the entire story may want to start with 2018's Marvel's Spider-Man.

Completing Everything

Completionist and trophy hunters may want to do everything in Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales. Doing everything in Insomniac's game will bring playtimes closer to the 17-hour mark. Speedy players can shorten that time to 12 hours, and relaxed gamers can stretch it out to a full 23 hours of playtime.

Since Spider-Man is a neighborhood hero, players will have to check off many petty crimes around the city. These will come up at random times, but they don't have to be completed immediately. Side Missions also spring up at seemingly random times but will stay cataloged.

Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales offers plenty of side missions, and thankfully players can access them a lot quicker than they could in the last game. The Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man app completely changes the game by letting players search for crimes and missions with a touchpad's swipe. It streamlines most of the process and, in turn, makes things easier for the completionists.

Fans of the series may be pleased to hear that Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales is a shorter campaign. Luckily, Insomniac Games still manages to give players the full Spider-Man experience with a compelling story, intriguing side-missions and randomly generated crimes. Whether players are looking for a platinum trophy or an extraordinary super-hero tale Marvel's Spider-Man: Miles Morales will have something for them.
