When I Get Home You’re So Dead Lyrics

[Verse 1]The words are coming, I feel terribleIs it typical for us to end like this?Am I just another scene from a movie that you've seenOne hundred times?'Cause baby you weren't the first or the last or the worstAnd I've got to fill the blanks in the past with a verseAnd we could sit around and cry but franklyYou're not worth it anymore[Chorus]So say hello to all the boys at the topOf this table that you're underLipstick lullabiesThis is sorry for the last timeAnd baby I understand that you're making new friendsThis is how you get byThe moral this time is:Girls make boys cry, and I...[Verse 2]On any other day I'd shoot the boyBut your simple toy had caused a scene like thisLeave him hanging on the walls, just a picture in the hallLike a hundred more (Like a hundred more)Consider this as a gift as you taste him on your lipsAnd he's making you scream with his hands on your hipsI hope he's leaving you empty baby this is just a fixSuch a simple little whoreYou might also like[Chorus]So say hello to all the boys at the topOf this table that you're underLipstick lullabiesThis is sorry for the last timeAnd baby I understand that you're making new friendsThis is how you get byThe moral this time is:Girls make boys cry, and I[Bridge]And your name remains the sameAll that has changed is this pretty faceSo pull the trigger, it never gets closer (And your name remains the same)You want to start over, never start overPull the trigger, it never gets closer (All that has changed is this pretty face)You want to start over, but never start over[Chorus]So say hello to all the boys at the topOf this table that you're underLipstick lullabiesThis is sorry for the last timeAnd baby I understand that you're making new friendsThis is how you get byThe moral this time is:Girls make boys cry, and I[Outro]Say hello, say helloLipstick lullabiesThis is sorry for the last timeAnd baby I understand how you're making new friendsThis is how you get byThe moral this time is: (The moral this time is)Girls make boys cry and...3EmbedCancel

Jeremy Lenzo in a 2007 interview with AbsolutePunk.net:

We chose to re-do “When I Get Home” and “Jamie All Over” because we thought those were great songs that a lot of people might miss out on. “Jamie All Over” was never on a CD, and we wanted people to hear it. “When I Get Home” was on our EP, but we thought it might reach more ears being on our full length.
