It’s official: McDonald’s just brought back their breakfast bagel sandwiches in select locations.

After having over 22,000 customers sign a petition to bring back the beloved item (especially the Steak, Egg & Cheese Bagel), the fast food chain finally gave in and launched its return in certain branches across the country.

An exclusive source reportedly told Fox59 that the bagels are now available at every location across Indiana and Southwest Michigan. The insider also shared that “as of August 1, they are listed on menus at every restaurant, inside and in the drive-thru, as well as the McDonald’s mobile app and McDelivery.” Similarly, Fox8 mentioned that in a company press release, McDonald’s announced that “breakfast bagels are back in Ohio.”

There are four different kinds of sandwiches available: Steak, Egg & Cheese; Bacon, Egg & Cheese; Sausage, Egg & Cheese, and Egg & Cheese Bagel. According to the McDonald’s website, the fan-favorite Steak, Egg & Cheese Bagel is “a bagel freshly toasted with real butter that holds a tender, juicy steak patty, a fluffy folded egg, melty American cheese and savory grilled onions.” On the other hand, the Bacon, Egg & Cheese Bagel “features a toasted bagel with butter, thick-cut Applewood smoked bacon, a fluffy folded egg, and two slices of melty American cheese.”

The internet quickly reacted to this announcement, with some customers even requesting the item to be available at their local McDonald’s. One user tweeted, “Hey, @McDonalds. We need bagels in Missouri!!! #bagelsareback” while another one posted, “@McDonalds You brought them back to Ohio now bring the bagels back to Buffalo NY! I miss those steak egg and cheese bagels. #bagelsareback.” Another fan tweeted, “Hey @McDonalds…I hear #bagelsareback!!! Can we get them in LA?”

Those who have already gotten their bagel fix also posted their thoughts online. One user wrote, “Pinch me, I’m dreaming” while another one said, “This is what I’ve been craving for the past two+ years.”

“She’s a beaut,” added another, and we couldn’t agree more.

As of this writing, it is unknown as to which other locations carry the iconic breakfast bagels. We’ll definitely stay tuned as we can’t wait to try them ASAP too!
