(WOLF) — More coronavirus testing sites are popping up in Pennsylvania.

The urgent care company Med Express has 15 testing centers in our state.

If you live in Luzerne County- you can book a virtual visit to see if you qualify for a test at one of its centers.

"We focus on folks with co-morbid conditions, diabetes, hypertension, people that are immune-compromised, people that over age 65, healthcare workers, first responders and then obviously people with symptoms," MedExpress Chief Medical Officer Dr. Alex Strachan said.

The centers are open every day from 8 to 8, according to a MedExpress press release.

Plus- MedExpress says its always considering adding more testing sites, even ones in Luzerne and Lackawanna Counties-with results coming back within 48 hours.

"We see the demand on a county by county basis," Strachan said. "If we see a municipality starting to emerge then yes we'll respond to that."

But elected officials say there aren't enough tests- even with more sites.

200 tests per day at Mohegan Sun Arena and 200 per day at Rite Aid in Plains isn't going to cut it- according to scranton mayor paige cognetti.

"This is a really long road and the road is directly related to testing and making sure we're getting more testing here and more contact tracing so we can try and open the economy back up," Cognetti said.
