The YMCA of Greenville is available to everyone. We have a number of membership options to accommodate all needs - rates depend on the type of membership (single, household, etc.) and branch.

Individual Branch Rates

While facilities and programs may vary, each branch offers a wide selection of programs and opportunities to meet almost anyone's interest. For more information on what each branch has to offer, visit our locations page.

YMCA of Greenville members can visit any branch location, however, when determining your "home branch," please choose the location where you and your family will visit at least 51% of the time.

*Branch Household memberships include two adults living in the same household, and their dependents (26 and younger). Additional adults age 27 and older can be added to the membership for an extra $15 per month/per adult. Proof of residency is required.

 

Membership Dues

Membership dues at the Y help us maintain the facilities, hire the best quality staff, and provide programming such as child care, group exercise classes, and so much more. 

Your membership dues may be paid in two ways:

• Monthly Automatic Bank Draft: you make an initial down payment (joining fee + first month's dues). You then authorize the YMCA and your bank to automatically debit your account.
• Annual Payment: Cash, check or credit cards (Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover) are accepted.

Rates vary slightly by branch. Find your branch's rates above. We impose a Service Charge of 2.67% on Credit Card transactions, and a $0.39 Service Charge on ACH transactions, which is not greater than our cost of acceptance.

The YMCA of Greenville requires a ten (10) day written notice to cancel a current Y membership. If less than a ten (10) day written notice is given, your membership will be drafted one more time, at which time you will have access to the facility for the remainder of the month. Members have thirty (30) days to rejoin without being charged the joining fee. Should you ever need to cancel your membership, please visit your branch to complete some necessary paperwork. The paperwork authorizes us to alter our draft agreement. This will ensure that your bank is properly notified to discontinue the drafting of your account. If you are unable to visit your branch, please provide your name, birthdate and reason for cancellation electronically by clicking here. You will be contacted by a staff member in regards to your request.
