Metro-North Restarts Express Service On The Hudson Line

Starting Sunday, Metro-North is reintroducing express service on the Hudson Line.The railroad spent $8 million to repair tracks destroyed by Hurricane Ida.Metro-North says express service will make trips at several stations up to 13 minutes faster.  There is also an increase in the total number of trains running – back to nearly 90% of pre-pandemic levels.  The Hudson Line will add 14 weekday trains and the Harlem Line will add 18, making 66 for all lines east of the Hudson. It is advised to check the schedule online as train times have likely changed.
