  Midland Computers 2025 best bits! As 2025 concludes, we mark the end of our significant year-long celebration of 25 years in business! Running from October 2024 to October 2025, this milestone was marked by special recognition and donations to local charities, reinforcing the community values that have guided us since 1999. This year has been defined by significant business growth and deepened client partnerships. Our focus remains clear: providing proactive, expert IT support and cybersecurity solutions to small and medium-sized businesses. Our 2025 Milestones: - We celebrated our 25 Year anniversary! - Became WithSecure Gold Partners. - Won Best Performance for UK at WithSecure Star Awards. - Increased our number of employees by 20% (5 new team members). - We donated £250 to 29 charities, chosen by our hard-working team.   Tech Tip Tuesday! Myth vs Fact 💡 Myth: "Our data is in Microsoft 365 or another cloud service, so it's fully backed up and secure." Fact: Cloud platforms ensure data availability, but they don't guarantee you can quickly restore it from a specific point in time or recover after a severe ransomware attack or accidental mass deletion. You still need independent, dedicated backup. To stay truly protected against human error, insider risk, and cyber threats, you need a backup solution that offers: ✅ Independent: Stored securely and separately from the primary data. ✅ Immutable: A copy that can't be altered or encrypted by threats like ransomware. ✅ Tested: Regular restore checks to guarantee you can get back up and running fast. Tip: Review your backup policy regularly and ensure it’s tested. A quick restore test can save hours of downtime later.
