The traditional way to prepare a Midori Sours is to shake it on ice and strain it into a rocks glass, but I like them on the rocks and with a good quality vodka. • 1 1⁄2 ounces Midori melon liqueur
• 1 ounce premium vodka (optional)
• 2 ounces sour mix
• 1 1⁄2 ounces lime juice
• 1 dash Sprite or 1 dash other carbonated lemon-lime beverage
• 1 maraschino cherry, garnish

• Combine first 4 ingredients and pour over ice. Splash soda and garnish with a cherry.
• You can also shake the ingredients on ice and strain into a rocks glass and garnish with a cherry.

4. Awesome drink! Loved it! The perfect amount of sweet and sour as promised. I used the optional vodka as well and it was very good. I thought it might taste a little strong but it was perfect. The sprite was nice and added a touch of efferfescence. I liked this served over ice but I think I may like it even more served neat. I will definitely make this one again! 5. These are so beautiful and refreshing! I made as directed using maybe a little less lime juice and a lime seltzer instead of Sprite. I garnished it with a slice of lime. I live in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina on Butler Mountain. I am a mystery shopper for restaurants and retail establishments. I graduated from UNC-Asheville with a BFA in art (photography). I was just recently married in Costa Rica to KC and his 6 year old son, Ty. Our wedding was perfect and I will cherish the memories forever. Leslie, Mama's Kitchen, sassafrasnanc, Mommy Diva and Chef V attended the wedding with their husbands!! Leslie's daughter Sarah was our flower girl and her hubby Wayne was our talented musician! We also have added a Leopard Appaloosa rescue horse to the mix.
