  • 27 and 28 months
  • 29 and 30 months
This gives you an idea of what to expect from your toddler at each stage from 25 months to 30 months. Bear in mind that all children develop differently. If you have any concerns about your toddler's development, ask your health visitor for advice.

25 and 26 months

Mastered skills (most children can do)
  • Takes off clothes without help
  • Throws a ball overarm
  • Builds a tower out of six building bricks

  • Washes hands (needs help with drying)
  • Brushes teeth with help
  • Puts on a coat or cardigan without help

  • Speaks clearly most of the time
  • Builds a tower out of seven bricks
  • Eats with a fork
