MILLIONAIRE Scot Young – found dead impaled on London railings – was a fixer for a Russian mob, an investigation has claimed.
The 52-year-old fell from the fourth-floor balcony of a £2million flat he rented in Marylebone and died in December 2014.

Cops decided he had jumped to his death but an inquest returned an open verdict – with his family maintaining he was murdered.
A BuzzFeed News probe has now claimed: “The one-time multimillionaire and fixer to the world’s super-rich had been telling friends, family, and the police for years that he was being targeted by a team of Russian hitmen – ever since his fortune vanished overnight in a mysterious Moscow property deal.”
Young had close links to Boris Berezovsky, the exiled Russian oligarch who opposed President Putin, and it is said he “fell in with a major organised crime group”.
The year before Young’s death, Berezovsky was found hanged in his bedroom, after surviving several assassination attempts, including a bomb in his car.
Heidi Blake, global investigations editor of BuzzFeed, claims Young found a loophole which allowed him to bring in huge amounts of money to the UK without being penalised.
In a BBC radio interview she said he “began laundering money for them [the crime group]”.
She added: “He became the go-to fixer for Berezovsky and his associates as they sought ways to stash their ill-gotten cash in an extraordinary array of luxury British properties, vehicles, private jets and helicopters.
“He really helped Berezovsky splash his cash in the UK and pursued a whole range of highly risky property deals for Berezovsky in Russia itself.
“So he exposed himself to huge danger as part of that role and ultimately he plunged from a window from his fourth-floor apartment in Marylebone, in London and was impaled on the spikes of a wrought iron fence underneath.
‘RISKY DEALS’
“This after warning police and his friends and family for years that he was being targeted by Russian hitmen.”
A two year investigation found Young had financial problems, drank heavily and took drugs while getting mixed up with “dodgy people”.
In August 2009 the report claims he called police and said he thought he would be killed by gangsters and “Russian mafia”.
One old friend also claimed Young had had been dangled out of a window at London’s Dorchester Hotel by gangsters in 2012.
The family had houses in Miami, Oxfordshire and half a dozen mansions in Belgravia. Scot also owned a collection of 40 watches worth £2million.

His daughter Sasha believes he was killed by a professional hitman on the orders of the Russian mafia.
She said: “After he died, we begged the police to investigate.
“But the forensic work that should have been carried out at the flat at the time wasn’t done.”
In 2018 we told how detectives who led the investigation into the poisoning of ex-Russian double agent Sergei Skripal in Salisbury claimed to have uncovered new evidence suggesting Young was targeted by Russian killers.
