How to evolve Feebas into Milotic

To evolve Feebas into Milotic, players must follow these steps:

1. Catch a Feebas
2. Set it as your Buddy
3. Walk 20 km
4. Gather 100 Feebas Candy

Once both the distance and Candy requirements are fulfilled, then the ‘Evolve’ button on Feebas’ page will become active. Tap on it and watch the ugly fish turn into one of the most beautiful Pokemon in the franchise.

Yes, Milotic can be Shiny in Pokemon Go, as this special variation was released at the start of the Feebas Limited Research back in January 2019.

Players can recognize Shiny Feebas because its usual beige body changes to purple, and the steel blue fins turn gray. In Shiny Milotic’s case, the turquoise tail changes to bright yellow, and what appears to be its eyebrows go from pink to a shade of purple.
