Athletic Excellence

The state’s two-time returning Gatorade Player of the Year, the 6-foot-2 senior right-handed pitcher and first baseman had led the Raiders to a 34-0 record and a berth in the 16th Region Tournament quarterfinals at the time of her selection. Fouts owned a 30-0 mark in the circle with a 0.04 earned run average and 383 strikeouts in 178 innings pitched through 34 games. She allowed 43 hits and walked 17 with 11 no-hitters, including seven perfect games. At the plate, Fouts produced a .584 batting average entering the regional round of eight with 18 doubles, eight home runs, 42 runs scored, 57 RBI and a 1.078 slugging percentage.

Academic Achievement

Fouts has maintained a weighted 3.75 GPA in the classroom. She has signed a national letter of intent to play softball on scholarship at the University of Alabama this fall.

Exemplary Character

A member of the French National Honor Society, Fouts has volunteered locally with the Wounded Warrior Project and as a youth softball coach.
