What is a Moon Sign? 

Just like the Sun, the moon moves throughout your birth chart. At the time of your birth, the moon was sitting quietly watching at a certain location in the sky. This location marks the sign the moon was in at the time of your birth!

What sign is the Moon in today? 

The Moon changes signs every two or two and a half days, and passes through all 12 signs of the zodiac every 27 and 1/3 days.

That's one Sidereal Month. So we have ample opportunity to experience how the sign that the moon is in affects ourselves and those around us.

How can I use the Moon Sign meaning in my daily life?

Not only is our inner self touched by moonlight at birth, but our daily journey is also tinted by the moon sign. The moon, being the closest celestial body to Earth, moves fast! It changes sign every two or so days, so keep watch. 

Tracking what is happening, emotionally, each day alongside the signs and phases of the Moon will familiarize yourself with how you interact with the different energies.

By day our collective emotions can be influenced by the moon. Moon in Aries is a great day to start a project, you may be feeling motivated and excited to start new things. If the Moon is in Scorpio, you may feel extra sensitive and drawn into yourself. Keep track of your moods in your zodiac planner and see if you find any patterns with the daily moon sign!

Moon in Aquarius Meaning

Aquarius by day: Relax, check in with community, network; the vibe is friendly, open-minded but stubborn, political but not intimate. Have meetings, work with teams, discuss philosophy, find new allies and common goals, just keep emotional expectations light.

If your moon is in Aquarius:

Those Born Under an Aquarius Moon know group dynamics. Their family may have thoroughly trained them to know what the community needs, but may have forgotten to ask them about their personal needs. They’re idealistic, political, philosophical, more abstract and practical, and if they respect their own feelings and don’t project these onto others, they can be a team-building gift to any circle.

Void of Course Moon or VoC

Another interesting tidbit about the Moon changing signs is that, when the Moon makes its last major aspect before changing from one sign to the next, it is considered "Void of Course."  The Moon stops being void of course once it enters the next sign.
