Fix: More photos will be shown once Messages finishes indexing - iPhone

When you go to browse for photos and videos from an iPhone contact, you only see some or no photos and videos beneath the contact name and a message appears:

More photos will be shown once Messages finishes indexing.

1. Go to Settings -> Apple ID -> iCloud -> and enable/disable Messages. Some users report toggling iCloud messages on/off fixes indexing issues.

2. Go to Settings -> Siri & Search -> Messages and toggle off all options and then reboot your iPhone.

3. Go back to Settings -> Siri & Search -> Messages and toggle on all options.

4. Finally, check to ensure you have the latest iOS update installed. Go to Settings -> General -> Software Update.
