Bite the Bullet (1975) was one of a number of movies filmed on the Cumbres & Toltec Scenic, formerly the Rio Grande's narrow gauge San Juan Extension. Filming took place in June of 1974. You can find more information about the movie itself in its entry in IMDB.

Filming Locations

Most of the filming took place in Chama, NM, with additional shots at Cumbres Pass and Mud Tunnel? also playing prominently.
