While MSNBC host Rachel Maddow spends the majority of her time in New York City, the cable news host says she prefers a more rural setting.

Maddow posted a photo on Twitter this weekend showing her ice fishing at the Ashfield Lakehouse in Western Massachusetts. Or, as she put it, “the greatest place on earth.”

Maddow is the host of the daily news and opinion program, The Rachel Maddow Show, which airs nightly Monday through Friday. Debuted on MSNBC in 2008, the program was the most-watched cable news show for part of last year.

In addition to their home in New York, Maddow and her long-time partner, artist Susan Mikula, own a pre-Civil War farmhouse in Western Massachusetts, where they met two decades ago.
