I had delayed the treatment for almost a year because I was nervous, but the results have completely blown me away. My right cheek immediately de-puffed (I didn’t even realize it was swollen until I saw the difference!).Miss Sangha was kind, gentle, and professional throughout — she checked in with me constantly, which made me feel completely at ease. I truly felt like I was in expert hands. The result was far better than I expected — if she had a free slot the next day, I’d have gone back right away to do the left side!The lady called Pearl from the reception team was also fantastic. After the treatment, I couldn’t speak properly because of the anesthesia, but the lady at the desk somehow understood my mumbling perfectly and helped schedule my next appointment and send over the invoice just the way I needed.I only registered with Platinum Dental Care in late July, but the experience has been outstanding from day one. Took extra time to explain the procedure and ensure everything is fine afterwards. Also would emphasize the super clean area and new equipment taken out right in front of you from sealed bags, so made be feel really safe.For new customers you indeed have to pay full amount of the treatment, but I cancelled it without any issues as mentioned 24h in advance when needed to change a timeslot. For existing customers you only pay 50 GBP deposits. Dr Mihir Nanavati was very professional and did a thorough check-up, including X-rays and a 3D scan of my teeth and gums. Explained thoroughly what I need to do, immediately booked me for a hygienist appointment and a follow-up consultation. The hygienist Somayya was also very good. The appointment availability was really good every time I've had to book treatment or a check-up. With the treatment recommended by Dr Nanavati I saw immediate improvement in my gums and I will be staying with this practice for the foreseeable future. Pritti Shah 21:25 20 Mar 25 I had a consultation with Dr Shandy Vijayan at Platinum Dental Care for my toothache. Dr Shandy did X-rays and examination of the my teeth and told me what the problem was and that Iwould require root canal and explained to me briefly what that would involve. She reassured me that it would be a straight forward procedure. I was subsequently booked for root canal treatment with Dr Jassar El Jabouri at the Platinum Dental Care the following week. Before my procedure I was a bit anxious but Dr El Jabouri put me at ease straight away. He showed me the X-ray on the big screen and discussed the problem and the treatment. He said he will give me local anaesthetic and that I would not feel a thing when doing the procedure. True to his word I did feel a thing. He was really gentle After the treatment he explained what to expect. I could not believe how painless the whole treatment was. Even after the anaesthetic wore off, I did not feel any discomfort or soreness. To date I have not had any issues. I would not hesitate in recommending Dr El Jabouri.Overall my experience so far with Plantinum Dental care has been seamless. The staff are so professional, efficient, friendly and polite. The treatment rooms are clean, calming withmodern equipment. I felt very reassured I shall not be anxious about any treatment needed in the future.I would like to express my sincere thanks to the whole team at the Platinum Dental Care for looking after me. She did not want to pull my one protruding teeth and wanted to save it.We started working together on fixing my teeth and I followed the instructions to the letter and each month, I was really happy with what was happening to my teeth. My teeth were straightening bit by bit.I was already happy with the result at some point, but the dentist thought we could a bit more and that last push really was the cherry on the cake.Leadership of this practice is wonderful. You get treated with respect by a team that clearly is there to help you.I can only say thank you for all the support, the quick responses from the lovely ladies from reception, the very kind hygienists and the dentist. Dr. Shandy graciously brought me back to rework my tooth until I was 100% happy with it. As a result, I got a new smile in less than 2 weeks from first check up to final result. I had a fixed wire retainer following the treatment to maintain the final results and am continuing with teeth whitening to perfect my smile.I also had two hygienist appointments with platinum dental care throughout my treatment outside my Invisalign. Private care can always be a little costly but the care and attention I was given I have to say it is worth the cost. I don't believe I would get the same excellent treatment if I didn't go private. Appointments have always been booked extremely quickly and at times to suit me. I'd also give anyone a heads up if you're worried about paying anything in a lump sum, firstly the practice offers payment plans but also the payments are staged anyway if you're on a lengthy treatment so the cost will naturally be spread.Finally the personal touch here is second to none, all the staff remember their clients and it's very very lovely. I have just today had the last amalgam NHS filling from my teenage years replaced with a composite filling which looks exactly like a real tooth. The care, understanding and patience that Dr Patel has put in made all the difference at my wedding last weekend where I could smile knowing that the metal fillings from my youth were gone. I despised going to the dentist while growing up as the staff were dreadful and the experience awful, resulting in a vicious cycle of skipped appointments and deteriorating dental care. I had delayed the treatment for almost a year because I was nervous, but the results have completely blown me away. My right cheek immediately de-puffed (I didn’t even realize it was swollen until I saw the difference!).Miss Sangha was kind, gentle, and professional throughout — she checked in with me constantly, which made me feel completely at ease. I truly felt like I was in expert hands. The result was far better than I expected — if she had a free slot the next day, I’d have gone back right away to do the left side!The lady called Pearl from the reception team was also fantastic. After the treatment, I couldn’t speak properly because of the anesthesia, but the lady at the desk somehow understood my mumbling perfectly and helped schedule my next appointment and send over the invoice just the way I needed.I only registered with Platinum Dental Care in late July, but the experience has been outstanding from day one. Thank you to the whole team for such amazing care — highly recommend!

Been coming here for regular check-ups, hygiene maintenance and recently some cosmetic bonding work which looks unreal. Was so close to going to Turkey and getting dodgy veneers but really glad I’ve had the work done here. A huge shout out to Cat Edney 🫡 she smashed it and takes so much care and attention to get the perfect outcome. The other staff are lovely too, Gintare the nurse and Pearl at reception. Can’t recommend this place enough. You get what you pay for 😃 super happy with my smile.

Took extra time to explain the procedure and ensure everything is fine afterwards. Also would emphasize the super clean area and new equipment taken out right in front of you from sealed bags, so made be feel really safe.For new customers you indeed have to pay full amount of the treatment, but I cancelled it without any issues as mentioned 24h in advance when needed to change a timeslot. For existing customers you only pay 50 GBP deposits. Online booking was fine, though might experience couple of glitches at first.Also Bupa did accept my receipts in case you have dental coverage with them.

Dr Mihir Nanavati was very professional and did a thorough check-up, including X-rays and a 3D scan of my teeth and gums. Explained thoroughly what I need to do, immediately booked me for a hygienist appointment and a follow-up consultation. The hygienist Somayya was also very good. The appointment availability was really good every time I've had to book treatment or a check-up. With the treatment recommended by Dr Nanavati I saw immediate improvement in my gums and I will be staying with this practice for the foreseeable future.

Pritti Shah 21:25 20 Mar 25 I had a consultation with Dr Shandy Vijayan at Platinum Dental Care for my toothache. Dr Shandy did X-rays and examination of the my teeth and told me what the problem was and that Iwould require root canal and explained to me briefly what that would involve. She reassured me that it would be a straight forward procedure. I was subsequently booked for root canal treatment with Dr Jassar El Jabouri at the Platinum Dental Care the following week. Before my procedure I was a bit anxious but Dr El Jabouri put me at ease straight away. He showed me the X-ray on the big screen and discussed the problem and the treatment. He said he will give me local anaesthetic and that I would not feel a thing when doing the procedure. True to his word I did feel a thing. He was really gentle After the treatment he explained what to expect. I could not believe how painless the whole treatment was. Even after the anaesthetic wore off, I did not feel any discomfort or soreness. To date I have not had any issues. I would not hesitate in recommending Dr El Jabouri.Overall my experience so far with Plantinum Dental care has been seamless. The staff are so professional, efficient, friendly and polite. The treatment rooms are clean, calming withmodern equipment. I felt very reassured I shall not be anxious about any treatment needed in the future.I would like to express my sincere thanks to the whole team at the Platinum Dental Care for looking after me. My gum was bleeding, inflamed, and had a lot of tartar, but she managed to fix everything in 2 sessions. She also gave me excellent advice for my sensitive teeth, which worked like magic. She’s the best, my gum stopped bleeding and my teeth are so soft and clean. Thank you so much to her and to her assistant🙏

She was so particular with the Invisalign. I was happy with the outcome but she tweaked a few things that she wasn’t happy with. I’m not a nervous patient but I can imagine that if you are, Dr Shah would immediately put you at use. Dr Antonia was also part of the treatment and she is also lovely. Yo S 11:37 09 May 24 Wonderful team providing wonderful smiles.I had noticed years ago that some of my teeth were twisting (age thing), but never realised that this could be fixed.The first dentist I found, told me that one particular tooth just could not be saved and declared the state of my teeth to be too bad to have Invisaligners.Then I found Platinum Dental Care and wanted to see what they were saying.I am not going to name names, as everyone in this team deserves recognition, but the dentist looked and I know she came up with 5 plans, before being satisfied with number 6 which she thought it could work. She did not want to pull my one protruding teeth and wanted to save it.We started working together on fixing my teeth and I followed the instructions to the letter and each month, I was really happy with what was happening to my teeth. My teeth were straightening bit by bit.I was already happy with the result at some point, but the dentist thought we could a bit more and that last push really was the cherry on the cake.Leadership of this practice is wonderful. You get treated with respect by a team that clearly is there to help you.I can only say thank you for all the support, the quick responses from the lovely ladies from reception, the very kind hygienists and the dentist. You have all worked together to get the result I have.If you are in doubt, just go and see them. For me it was well worth and I no longer have to smile with closed lips.

I went to Dr Shah with severe TMD (causing extreme pain in my jaw, difficulty chewing many foods, and very limited ability to open my mouth). Over the last year of Invisalign treatment, Dr Shah not only helped me to improve my TMD by correcting my bite, but also gave me a beautiful-looking smile too! I'm absolutely amazed and delighted with the results. My TMD makes it difficult to talk, chew or have even brief dental appointments without enormous pain, so I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to complete my treatment. Over the last year, Dr Shah and her team went above and beyond to help me manage my pain and to make the whole process comfortable and anxiety-free. The whole team is phenomenal. I can't recommend them highly enough!

I discovered them while searching for a practice that offered emergency dental appointments for new patients. They quickly and efficiently helped me release the pain. Since then, I have used them for my regular dental checks ups, dental hygiene visits and Invisalign treatment, and always offered a great service.In particular, this week I had a dental hygiene appointment with Ms Cat Edney, who is hands down the best hygiene therapist I have ever had. She made me feel at ease and was very invested in helping me resolve the issues I have been experiencing. She efficiently diagnosed what the problem was and gave me a lot of helpful tips to improve things in the future. She noticed I was interested in learning more and spent the appointment explaining exactly what was happening. She was accompanied by nurse Gintare Krivickaite, who was also very competent and did a great job. I left very satisfied (and a bit more knowledgeable). I will definitely be booking all future hygiene appointments with Ms Edney.

Dr. Shandy repaired a tooth that had been broken for about 20 years, and I am extremely satisfied with the result. She initially fixed it via tooth bonding, and I was already thrilled with the outcome at 95%, but she went above and beyond to ensure my complete satisfaction. Dr. Shandy graciously brought me back to rework my tooth until I was 100% happy with it. As a result, I got a new smile in less than 2 weeks from first check up to final result. Her professionalism and dedication are truly commendable. Thanks to her work, I have regained full confidence in my smile. I wholeheartedly recommend this dental practice. 
Matthew Box 13:47 05 Mar 24 I recently finished my Invisalign treatment which I started last year with Dr Shah and I'm so happy with the results. I had a fixed wire retainer following the treatment to maintain the final results and am continuing with teeth whitening to perfect my smile.I also had two hygienist appointments with platinum dental care throughout my treatment outside my Invisalign. Private care can always be a little costly but the care and attention I was given I have to say it is worth the cost. I don't believe I would get the same excellent treatment if I didn't go private. Appointments have always been booked extremely quickly and at times to suit me. I'd also give anyone a heads up if you're worried about paying anything in a lump sum, firstly the practice offers payment plans but also the payments are staged anyway if you're on a lengthy treatment so the cost will naturally be spread.Finally the personal touch here is second to none, all the staff remember their clients and it's very very lovely. Thanks again to the whole PDC team!

When you know you may have a way to go to get to a good place it can be scary. I can't compliment everyone here enough. Everyone is so friendly and they deliver news and next needed steps in a comforting way rather than in a way that shames or scares you (as I've definitely experienced in the past).They are always sure to ask if there's anything they should know as well at the start of each appointment. My hygienist took into account my extremely sensitive exposed roots and made sure these were numbed before treatment and checked in with me throughout to make sure the different tools she was using were okay and that I was comfortable. Knowing I was in good hands meant I actually felt extremely relaxed throughout the whole process where usually I would be laying there terrified waiting for it to end. I actually weirdly look forward to my appointments now! I don't know what else to say besides if you're debating it, just book in with them! I can't recommend them enough.

Even though my mum did not speak English, dr Amie was very patient and took the time to carefully explain all the issues with her teeth. She is extremely thorough in her work and very knowledgeable. I would highly recommend dr Amie. The surgeon who extracted her teeth was also exceptional, unfortunately I don’t remember his name.Overall we are extremely satisfied with platinum dental. Prices are slightly at the top end, but certainly worth the service.

Never felt rushed, never felt they were on the clock.I think the prices maybe on the higher side (but I haven’t compared enough to the other local dentists), but you get what you pay for.I literally can’t recommend them enough for the quality of the work, and helpfulness of the staff. This is service worth paying for.

I was a Botox virgin until recently, and had my first treatment with Dr Shah, she was informative, gentle and saw me a few weeks later for a free of charge top up just to make sure the finished result was perfect! Following my initial consultation with Dr Shah, I was guided through the personally tailored steps to achieve my perfect smile, with my 'Invisalign Comprehensive' plan. Usually a trip to the dentist shouldn't bring so much excitement, but I always looked forward to seeing the team for my appointments. Both Jasmina and Kate on the reception team were more than helpful and were quick to respond to any queries I had a long the way. My 'Invisalign Comprehensive' treatment plan began in December 2021 and ended in August 2022, but the team assured me that I can still contact them about anything in the future. A huge thank you to Dr Shah who really valued how much this investment meant to me. I particularly appreciated how the whole plan was explained up front with no hidden costs. She was so thorough with my treatment and kept me up to date with how things were going through the app service after each of my scans. Michael Cromie 21:31 04 May 22 I’ve been going to Platinum for over a year now and I can’t articulate how good they really are - particularly Dr Amie Patel who has quite literally transformed my teeth. I have just today had the last amalgam NHS filling from my teenage years replaced with a composite filling which looks exactly like a real tooth. The care, understanding and patience that Dr Patel has put in made all the difference at my wedding last weekend where I could smile knowing that the metal fillings from my youth were gone. I despised going to the dentist while growing up as the staff were dreadful and the experience awful, resulting in a vicious cycle of skipped appointments and deteriorating dental care. At Platinum, I genuinely look forward to my appointments as I know the treatment I receive is second to none. I cannot recommend this practice highly enough and if you have had bad dental experiences in the past I implore you to give them a try - you will not be disappointed.

The masseter muscle is a large facial muscle that runs from the cheekbone to the lower part of the jaw and is attached to the TMJ (Temporomandibular joint or jaw joint).
It is the key muscle that moves the lower jaw upwards. Individuals who clench or grind their teeth will overwork this muscle, which will make the muscle larger and potentially cause symptoms such as aching or pain.
Muscle-relaxing injections put directly into the masseter muscles are an option to help reduce the size of this muscle and any related symptoms. They are extremely effective for those patients who suffer from pain in this muscle. The injections are generally pain-free, and the appointment is completed within 30 minutes. It takes up to six weeks for the injections to work and to see and feel a significant difference, and it will wear off in 3 to 4 months.
This treatment is often combined with splint therapy.
What is an SCi splint?
An SCi splint is a hard, sectional occlusal splint that is placed over the lower or upper front teeth to reduce overloading of the muscles involved in clenching or grinding habits by eliminating the contact of the posterior (back) teeth and allowing the muscles to relax.
SCi splints are an effective solution for sufferers of TMD (temporomandibular disorder), and studies have found that these splints significantly reduce muscle activity in 80% of patients, helping to reduce grinding and clenching habits.
This treatment is not a cure for TMD, but it significantly reduces symptoms. It can be used in combination with muscle-relaxing injections in the masseter muscles if these muscles are painful.
