"Hi. I wear a clear quartz necklace. Every now and then it gets warm but nothing like experienced recently. I always cleanse my crystal before putting it on. Just recently we had some guests over (new acquaintances). During this get together (a group of three, all new to me) my crystal got really hot, at one point I had to check to see if it left a mark. This has never happend and I'm not sure what to think. I'm very sensative to some crystals and others I feel nothing. With the clear quartz its balanced, if that makes sense. The crystal stayed hot and then slowly warmed a few hour after the guest left. What does this mean?"

 

Answer:

Hi, Thank you so much for reaching out!  Our experiences with crystals can definitely vary from person to person.  The temperature of the crystal is a reflection of what is going on with the negative energy blockages. The crystal can get very warm, even hot, when a negative energy has been overcome and you are charging the cells.  The quartz may have doing what it was programmed to do and putting a lot of effort into it (like a protective crystal is actively absorbing or reflecting harmful energies or a healing crystal is making a push for healing), or it is working with/against your energy and reacting to you.  I personally think that the heat happens when we're working really strongly together and there's a lot of energy flow.  If it happens again, I would suggest journaling about the circumstances when it happens and then start to see if you can notice any particular situations or patterns for when you experience this. I hope this helps!

I went searching for ‘golden healer quartz got hot’ because it literally became hot after placing it on painful areas. I’m shocked. (Submitted by: Blue Crystal on May 17, 2022)

When I have a headache or migraine I use amethyst to my forehead and I use the small amethyst natural stones in my ears. Weird right, but the amethyst crystals get really hot and soothe my headache and relieve it altogether! I have been doing this since 2018. It works! I feel heat when the crystal is at work healing. So I was feeling extremely ill a while ago, so I got up to grab my clear quartz, in hope it would protect me from any harmful sicknesses I may have. I started rubbing my crystal where I was aching, and immediately felt it get burning hot, and I felt like it was working and sucking the sick out of me (I know it sounds weird, but that’s what I felt). I took the crystal off to charge it, and immediately felt better! Point being, You should definitely invest in a clear quartz! (Submitted by: Olivia Dietze on January 21, 2021)
