The Plot of My Hero Academia Season 6

Izuku using one for all

The world of My Hero Academia is populated by individuals with fantastical abilities known as Quirks. Those who seek to use their Quirks to help the general population are known as heroes, while those that work against them are villains. The series follows protagonist Izuku Midoriya on his journey to become the world's number one hero.

Though Izuku was born Quirkless, he was given a chance to inherit the Quirk of the current number one hero, and his idol, All Might. After All Might passes on his Quirk, One for All, down to Izuku, he joins U.A High School, Japan's preeminent hero academy, where students learn to become professional heroes.

Season 6 picks up right where Season 5 left off. Pro hero Hawks, undercover in the shadowy Paranormal Liberation Front, has finally been able to put all the pieces together from his investigation into the villainous faction. Thanks to his intelligence, the heroes are finally able to confront the Paranormal Liberation Front in an all-out war, which will surely alter the world of My Hero Academia forever.

Other News To Know For My Hero Academia

Ahead of the release of Season 6, My Hero Academia has released two OVAs as part of season five. The first OVA, titled "HLB" features a baseball league composed of pro heroes. A baseball league in the world of My Hero Academia means, of course, that the usage of Quirks is allowed during play.

The second OVA is titled "Laugh! As If You Are In Hell" and follows Izuku, Bakugo, and Todoroki during their time at Endeavor's hero agency, as they track down a graffiti artist known as "Smiley". While they were going to leave this relatively harmless villain to other heroes, things get personal when Smiley draws on Endeavor's house. What should be a simple task proves to be rather difficult, as it turns out Smiley's Quirk forces anyone that stares into his eyes to laugh uncontrollably. Both OVAs are available for streaming on Crunchyroll.
