When does episode 8 of Mystery 101 comes out?

Mystery 101 Episode 8 was expected to release around September 2022 at 08:00 PM EDT on Hallmark movies and Mysteries Channel but the news is coming that the Mystery 101 series has been canceled after seven installments.

The latest episode was “Deadly History” that premiered on 12 Sep 2021 leaving fans on the cliffhanger where Amy married to another man named Alistair, the murder victim.

However, Kristoffer Polaha (Detective Travis) shared in 2021 that they were planning to release another episode very soon but later on, he deleted that Facebook post.

Let’s cry in a corner because no Mystery 101 episode 8 is happening on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Jill Wagner also posted on Instagram to recollect some memories from the series.

It’s time to question Hallmark because they call themselves the best network for romantic drama lovers and still, they have canceled our favorite film series that we have supported wholeheartedly and literally, every fan wanted to see an 8th part.

We have loved the series so much and after two years of wait, what we have got is a heartbreaking cancellation.

Don’t know what’s the problem with Hallmark but what we know is, they will definitely bring some more interesting series and then leave that on the cliffhanger once again.

It has become their habit so don’t worry, just relax and enjoy other series of the channel. This is just the end of series not life.

Mystery 101 Episode 8 Ending Explained

When fans were feeling overwhelmed on seeing that their favorite series has come to an end, Eric managed to invite the Hallmark series writer John Christian Plummer for a quick chat and guess what? The chat turned into an interesting conversation that lasted for around 12:59 minutes and answers all of our questions related to the cliffhanger.

Plummer revealed that he never wrote the 8th episode of Mystery 101, he just pitched it. Then comes the real thing that we all have been waiting for so long, the after story of episode 7.

Mystery 101 Episode 8 episode titled ‘Killing Dreams‘ starts with Amy sleeping on her office desk while Travis calling out her name again and again. She wakes up with a shock and tells Travis that she had the craziest dream. She said, I was engaged and my fiance was murdered and you were investigating.

Amy told Travis everything about her dead fiance, Sam Jamison. She revealed that Sam was her next door neighbor and high school romance who proposed to her during school days but she had turned him down. Finally, the series ended with the marriage of Travis and Amy.

Why was Mystery 101 Episode 8 delayed?

The main reason behind the delayed production is that the cast members were busy doing another movie.

Polaha was doing We Wish You a Married Christmas, Haul Out the Holly, Winning Team, and Buried in Barstow while Jill Wagner was starring in A Merry Christmas Wish & A Christmas Miracle for Daisy.

Due to their tight schedule, the production wasn’t possible and still the details are unclear except Polaha’s comment that gives us hope that episode 8 of Mystery 101 is confirmed and will definitely premiere on our TV screens via Hallmark Movies and Mysteries.

The latest seventh episode was released on 1st of August 2021. Two years have been passed and fans are still waiting for a new episode to premiere like the sequel of Interstellar on big screens.

When will the filming began for Mystery 101 episode 8?

I know you have been waiting for Mystery 101 episode 8 from last two years and the waiting really sucks especially when you don’t find any offical updates and I relate you as a fan. Let me tell you why the new episode hasn’t arrived yet.

The cast members were actually busy in making other films in 2021-2022 like we talked in the previous heading. However, the two busiest cast members, Kristoffer Polaha & Jill Wagner aren’t too busy in 2023.

This information is meaningless beacause Hallmark has officially canceled the series and there won’t be Mystery 101 episode 8 that could show us the fate of Amy’s fiance.

Mystery 101: Deadly History Recap

In episode 7 of Mystery 101, we saw Travis coming back on screen to integrate into the Winslow family for another investigation because this time the lost person is Amy’s uncle, Alistair.

The disappearance of a close relative also give rise to an emotional attachment between Amy and Travis but we saw the tragic backstory of Travis’s old marriage that develops his attitude to stay away from a relationship.

The movie ended skipping 11 months where Amy gets married to another man and Alistair realizing that he had misinterpreted the threatening note and it was not hinting towards a murder but his affair. Heavy reported that Jill Wagner was actually pregnant during the shooting of this episode.

Mystery 101 Episode 8 Possible Plot

Mystery 101 Episode 8 preview shows that Travis Burke and Amy Winslow will return to solve another murder mystery case together.

This time Travis is assigned to look for the potential murderer of Amy’s fiancé, this is really an embarrassing moment for both of them as the closeness between the partners increasing constantly and now Travis have to aware from Amy’s past.

Amy is now engaged with her new husband as we have seen at the end of 7th episode but that lucky guy is not Travis. This opens the door for a new case assignment to detective Travis and his love interest Amy.
