After Samantha Ruth Prabhu broke her silence over her divorce from Naga Chaitanya, the Thank You actor also opened up about the same during a recent media interaction. He revealed that he is 'entirely a new person now' and 'feels more attached to his family'.

After Samantha Ruth Prabhu opened up about her divorce with Naga Chaitanya on the third episode of Koffee With Karan 7, the Thank You actor also addressed the same during his recent interaction with media for his latest released film.

Samantha and Naga announced their separation last year, which broke the hearts of many fans. Now, Chaitanya opened up on how divorce from Samantha has been one of the toughest phases of his life but he managed to cope.

The actor said that he has changed a lot as a person and feels very much attached to his family and friends. According to him, earlier he couldn't open up much but now he is a 'new person'.

Talking about the same, he said, "During this period, I have changed a lot as a person. Earlier I could not open up much. But now I am able to. Feeling very much attached to my family members and friends. It feels very nice to see myself as an entirely new person.”

Meanwhile, Samantha too opened up about her divorce with Naga on the latest episode of Koffee With Karan. She said, "It has been hard but it's good now. I am stronger.” When Karan asked her about any hard feelings they have between them, she replied by saying, "There are hard feelings like if you put the both of us in a room you have to hide sharp objects. So as of now, yes. “It's not an amicable situation right now. It might be in the future.”

Samantha even addressed the rumours that she got Rs 250 crore in alimony and joked that she would expect the IT department to come knocking at her door any day.

Samantha and Naga announced their separation on social media in October last year as they ended nearly four years of marriage.
