The power of this eye increases further as it evolves, making it a tremendous Kekkei Genkai to have. Although countless Naruto characters in the story have had access to the Sharingan, only a handful stand out as terrific users of this ability.

Given that this eye is one of the most exalted ones in the story, many powerful users have made their name making incredible use of this power. While this list already goes over the strongest sharingan users in the series, we have now taken a deeper dive into the past as well as the future of the Naruto series, and included the most underrated characters who have utilized this eye in many incredible ways. As such, this list has now been updated.

16 Tajima Uchiha

Sharingan Type: Mature Sharingan

Tajima Uchiha was the leader of the Uchiha Clan in the Warring States Era. This is an individual who often gets underestimated, largely because the story has not focused on him much. However, when one takes into consideration the fact that Tajima was at the head of the Uchiha during its most ferocious years, that is, when all the major clans were at war with one another, one comes to appreciate the fact that he certainly did possess tremendous strength.

Clearly, reaching the pinnacle of the Uchiha clan and becoming the head was not easy. To put that into perspective, one only has to look at Madara, who became the next leader of the Uchiha clan. He was skilled and that is why he was made the leader. Similarly, Tajima must have possessed incredible strength as well, and he would certainly not have been made the leader of the clan without that. Of course, being an Uchiha, his strength was likely derived from his Sharingan, which certainly makes him one of the best users of this eye. The fact that he had a perfectly mature showing on and that he could match the leader of the Senju clan evenly, whose skills far exceeded the likes of a young Madara, Hashirama, and Tobirama, just goes to show that this individual was certainly skilled.

Tajima's Strongest Sharingan Technique

Fans do not know what exactly the power of Tajima's Sharingan was. However, it is clear that his Sharingan was fully mature. He could see the most intricate details with his eye, and he could launch powerful Genjutsu to completely trap his opponents.

He could also read the chakra signatures of his enemies, and, most importantly, copy the techniques of his rivals. Tajima was a good user of the Sharingan, and if he were not, then he would certainly not have been made the leader of the clan.

15 Black Zetsu

Sharingan Type: Mangekyo Sharigan

Black Zetsu received the Sharingan during the Fourth Great Ninja War when he took control of Obito Uchiha's body for a very short period of time. Using his Sharingan and even Mangekyo Sharingan, Black Zetsu was able to access the Kamui dimension quite easily.

His usage of this power depended heavily on Obito and when the Uchiha regained control of his body, he could no longer function as he liked. Nonetheless, for a short time, he used the Mangekyo Sharingan impressively.

Strongest Sharingan Technique Of Black Zetsu

Black Zetsu was not all that great a user of the Sharingan, and this is down to the fact that he did not get to use it for long. He relied heavily on manipulating Obito's body. That said, he could actually get a hang of complex techniques, such as Kamui, quite quickly, which suggests a decent level of control over Sharingan.

14 Kagami Uchiha

Even though Shisui was quite strong, he still believed that he wasn't worthy of being compared to Kagami, which puts into perspective how impressive he must've been. Sadly, Kagami wasn't seen in combat of any sort so his true skill with the Sharingan remains to be unseen for now.

Kagame Uchiha is known to have been a very skilled user of the Sharingan, however, sadly, fans do not know of any techniques that he possessed. Nonetheless, it can be assumed that his basic control over the Sharingan was very good, since both Danzo and Hiruzen considered him to be an excellent Shinobi.

13 Sarada Uchiha

Sarada Uchiha is one of the next-generation characters of the Naruto world. She is the daughter of Sasuke Uchiha and Sakura Haruno. Sarada is blessed with immense physical strength, which he gets from her mother, and she also possesses incredible talent as well as amazing visual powers, which she gets from her father. She is an incredible ninja already, despite being quite young, and she aims to become the Hokage of the village.

Of course, for her to fulfill such lofty ambitions, she has to be very strong, and it is safe to say that she has managed very well so far. Sarada possesses incredible control over the Sharingan, and even though this eye was not fully matured for her for the longest time, she has now gained great mastery over it. Over the years, fans have seen her copy techniques, read the most intricate of movements, and even cast powerful Genjutsu. Undoubtedly, Sarada is an excellent user of the Sharingan. If that wasn't enough, Sarada, after 3 years, is now even stronger. She has awakened to the power of the Mangekyo Sharingan, and that makes her one of the most ferocious fighters of all time.

Sarada Uchiha’s strongest Sharingan technique, most likely, is her Mangekyo Sharingan. Unfortunately, her Mangekyo Sharingan powers have not been revealed to the fans just yet. That said, one ability that fans know for sure that she possesses or will reveal later on in the story is the Susanoo. Every user of the Mangekyo Sharingan who awakens the power in both eyes has access to the Susanoo.

Sarada has accomplished that prerequisite, which means that she will gain access to the Susanoo, sooner or later. Her Susanoo is certainly going to be immaculate, as is the case with most of them. It is going to grant her the ultimate form of defense, and at the same time, allow her to fight to the best of her abilities.

12 Fugaku Uchiha

Sharingan Type: Mangekyo Sharigan

Fugaku Uchiha was the last known leader of the Uchiha clan and he was quite powerful, evident from the fact that he was up for the position of the Fourth Hokage in Konohagakure. Fugaku took part in the Third Great Ninja War and fared quite well.

At some point in his life, he awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan, making him one of the very few to have this power. Although his Mangekyo Sharingan abilities remain unknown to this date, he was quite sure that he could control the Nine-Tails with it without much problem, which proved that he was definitely among the strongest Sharingan users.

Strongest Sharingan Technique Of Fugaku

Being the leader of the Uchiha clan, it is no surprise that Fugaku was an excellent Sharingan user. He had also awakened the Mangekyo Sharingan, which means that his control over the eye was at a very advanced level. His strongest ability was surely being able to control the Nine Tails. In fact, even his genjutsu prowess was amazing, as seen when he showed Itachi a vision using his eye.

11 Danzo Shimura

Sharingan Type: Mangekyo Sharigan

Danzo Shimura was an elder of Konohagakure who planned to take control of the village and run it under his hardline policies. With Orochimaru's help, Danzo was able to implant several Sharingan on his arm and use them for Izanagi.

What's more, he stole Shisui's Mangekyo Sharingan and had the power of Kotoamatsukami up his sleeve. He had also augmented his body with Hashirama's cells, meaning the eyes didn't drain his chakra as immensely. While strong, Danzo was not an effective user, as he wasn't a true Uchiha.

Danzo was not all that skilled a user of the Sharingan and his strongest technique was surely the Izanagi. He had also decent Genjutsu skills, however, they certainly paled im comparison to any regular Uchiha. Even his Izanagi was extremely bad, as proven by Obito shortly after.

10 Shin Uchiha

Sharingan Type: Mangekyo Sharigan

Shin Uchiha was created by none other than Orochimaru using Hashirama's cells. Just like Danzo, he had several Sharingan on his body, which granted him tremendous vision.

Shin had also managed to awaken the Mangekyo Sharingan somehow and with his eye power, he could telekinetically manipulate weapons that he had branded with his mark. Shin could use the Mangekyo Sharingan without worrying about the consequences as his entire body was made from Hashirama's cells, meaning he didn't lack chakra at all.

Shin Uchiha had a tremendously powerful Sharingan and surely, his strongest ability was his Mangekyo Sharingan skill that allowed him to manipulate things that he had marked. He was able to create lots of problems with this ability for even the likes of Naruto and Sasuke.

9 Izuna Uchiha

Izuna Uchiha was the younger brother of Madara Uchiha and at one point, known to be just as strong as him. Izuna and Madara trained together all the time and they were the first of the Uchiha to awaken the Mangekyo Sharingan.

Although Izuna's Mangekyo Sharingan abilities remain unknown, he was strong enough to match up to Madara and even hold his own against Tobirama Senju in battle. He was the second strongest Uchiha of his generation, but he ended up dying at the hands of the future Second Hokage of the village.

8 Shisui Uchiha

Known to be a master of the Body Flicker due to his staggering speed, Shisui was a strong Uchiha and a Jonin of Konohagakure. To date, he remains to be one of the very few Uchiha who wasn't affected by the Curse of Hatred.

Shisui was an extremely capable user of the Sharingan and during the Third Great Ninja War, his eye evolved into the Mangekyo Sharingan. Using Kotoamatsukami, he could cast a powerful Genjutsu on others and manipulate them without them even realizing it.

The infamous Clan Killer, Itachi Uchiha ranks among the strongest Uchiha clan members to ever live. Right from his childhoods days, Itachi was recognized as a prodigy. By the age of 8, he had already awakened the Sharingan and soon after, gained the Mangekyo Sharingan.

He could use the inextinguishable flames of the Amaterasu with his left eye, and a powerful Genjutsu known as Tsukuyomi with his right. Itachi's usage of the Sharingan was such that he could cast a Genjutsu without even maintaining eye contact.
