Bright and sunny today but feeling a little chilly early on. Cloudier conditions will develop near the south coast, gradually extending northwards over parts of Munster and south Leinster as the day goes on, with patchy rain and drizzle developing in these parts towards evening. Highs of 9 to 12 degrees in light easterly breezes.
Tonight - Tuesday 3rd March
Clear spells in the west and north at first tonight, with a touch of frost possible early on. Cloudier conditions in the east and south, with patchy rain, drizzle and mist will extend to most parts overnight. Lowest temperatures of 0 to 5 degrees, coldest early in the night under clearer breaks in the west and north, in light to moderate south to southeast breezes.
Tomorrow - Wednesday 4th March
Mostly cloudy tomorrow Wednesday, with mist and fog lingering in places, but some bright or sunny breaks in the mix too. While there will be a lot of dry weather overall, patchy drizzle will occur, and a few showers will develop in the west and northwest towards evening. Highest temperatures of 10 to 14 degrees in light to moderate southerly winds.

Wednesday Night: Mostly cloudy with patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle spreading eastwards to most areas. Lowest temperatures of 4 to 7 degrees, in moderate, occasionally fresh, southerly winds, veering westerly in western parts overnight.Thursday: Cloudy and damp or wet on Thursday to begin, with widespread outbreaks of rain and drizzle. A clearance will develop in west by the early afternoon, slowly edging eastwards over the country through the rest of the day. Afternoon highs of 5 to 8 degrees in moderate, occasionally fresh, westerly winds becoming north-westerly and easing later. Any remaining cloud and rain in the east will gradually clear eastwards on Thursday night, and it will become dry and cold under clear skies. Lowest temperatures of -2 to +2 degrees with some frost and icy patches.Friday: Mainly dry on Friday with long spells of spring sunshine. There is a chance of patchy drizzle developing near western and southwestern coasts in the afternoon, however. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in mainly light to moderate southerly or variable breezes, fresher along Atlantic coasts. Many places dry with long clear breaks on Friday night but a little cloudier in Atlantic coastal counties with patchy drizzle possible, mainly on hills and along coasts. Lowest temperatures of 2 to 6 degrees, coldest where clear skies prevail in light to moderate southerly breezes, fresh to strong near on Atlantic coasts.Saturday: Current indications suggest another mainly dry day on Saturday with variable cloud amounts and sunny spells. A few light showers are possible, mainly in the south and west. Highest temperatures of 9 to 12 degrees in light to moderate southerly winds, fresh to strong near Atlantic coasts.Sunday: A cloudier day overall is signalled on Sunday with patchy outbreaks of rain and drizzle. It'll become breezy too, with southerly winds increasing moderate to fresh as the day goes on, strong along Atlantic coasts.Early next week: It looks like low pressure will become a little more dominant into early next week bringing mixed and changeable conditions.
