How long does the NBA Free Agency last?

In 2022, the NBA Free Agency started on June 30 and it will go on until July 6 when the contracts need to be signed. This means that all players have to make their decisions to play for their new teams inside that time frame. If they don't get their teams before this time, they are staying either as free agents or remaining with their teams untill December's free agency period.
