Despite all the recent negative vibes surrounding Arkansas basketball, at least one national analyst, Joe Lunardi from ESPN, is picking the Razorbacks to make the NCAA Tournament. He has Arkansas as one of his "Last Four In", meaning Arkansas would be one of the four teams to play in Dayton. Considering the local expectations for the team, Mike Anderson should win coach of the year if this happens.

We honor you with this Jeff Long-approved integrity and this shout out. Nicely done. I believe the top-ranking Arkansas Fight staff member was Ryan Higgins who foolishly picked Kentucky to win it all. My bracket was terrible, but not as bad as our last place finisher, razorback3, whose bracket was truly awful. Dude did you even try? Arkansas' Women's Basketball Loses To Baylor In NCAAT 2nd Round

The Razorbacks made it to the 2nd round of the NCAA Tournament after upsetting Northwestern, but unfortunately that meant they had to face Baylor in the next round and the Bears won 73-44. Arkansas held tight with them for a while but Baylor was too much for Jimmy Dykes' squad. Congrats to the women's basketball team on a season that exceeded most expectations.

The 10th-seeded women's basketball team scored a 1st round victory in the NCAA Tournament by coming back from a double-digit 2nd half deficit and knocking off Northwestern. Melissa Wolff had 13 points and 15 rebounds as the Razorbacks claimed the 57-55 victory. They finished the game on a 22-7 run and forced some huge turnovers to keep possession and hold onto the lead after missing some big free throws late, but it worked out and they'll play again on Sunday in Waco.

The women's team is listed as an 11-seed on ESPN's latest projection that was published following Arkansas' victory over Ole Miss in the SEC Women's Tournament. They have the Razorbacks listed as the third-to-last at-large team making the field, so it will be a nervous few days for Jimmy Dykes' squad before the field is announced on Sunday. They finished 17-13 on the season with a win in the conference tournament and an RPI of 43. Season highlights include wins over Iowa, Georgia, and LSU. They started SEC play 0-4 but closed 7-7. They'll have to hope for few upsets in league tournaments that could take away spots from some at-large teams.
