  • After announcing its password crackdown news on May 23, 2023, Netflix experienced a significant increase in subscriber count in the United States. The streaming giant added 100k subscribers on both May 26th and 27th, 2023, and the average daily signups during that period rose to 73,000.
  • The average daily signups increased by 102% from the previous 60-day period. That is even better than the spike that occurred during the COVID-19 lockdown.
