Never Have I Ever Season 3 Potential Release Date And More
Maybe your like
Never Have I Ever season three has been officially confirmed by Netflix, but we also have some bad news for fans.
Co-creator Mindy Kaling revealed in March 2022 that the hit show would be coming back to our screens in summer, and it's also been renewed for a fourth season. However, that will be the final season for the show.
But let's not get too far ahead of ourselves. What does the immediate future hold of Devi, and her complicated love triangle with Ben and Paxton? And what kind of bad behaviour should we expect in the new season?
Here's everything you need to know about Never Have I Ever season three.

Never Have I Ever season 3 potential release date: When will Never Have I Ever season 3 air?
As mentioned above, Never Have I Ever season three will air on Netflix in summer 2022 – with the date confirmed to be August 12, 2022.
This followed an earlier announcement from co-creators Mindy Kaling and Lang Fisher, via both the Netflix and Kaling's Twitter pages, that a fourth season was also happening but that it would also be the show's final outing.
"We can't wait to reveal all the steamy romance and hilarious adventures we have in store for you. Thanks to all our fans for your support - especially you #Bevi and #Daxton stans," they wrote.
Never Have I Ever season 3 cast: Who's coming back?
The core cast will all be back for more trouble in the next season – obviously led by Devi herself, Maitreyi Ramakrishnan.
She'll be joined by the men fighting for her heart – Darren Barnet, who plays sports hunk Paxton, and Jaren Lewison, who plays supernerd Ben.
Thankfully she'll have her besties on side too with Ramona Young returning as Eleanor, and Lee Rodriguez back as Fabiola.
But of course, the Vishwakumar family won't be far behind, with Devi's mum Nalini (Poorna Jagannathan) and cousin Kamala (Richa Moorjani) around to give her a guiding hand through love and loss following the death of her dad.

There are also a number of fringe characters: Devi's late dad Mohan (Sendhil Ramamurthy) may appear in flashbacks, with counsellor Jamie (Niecy Nash), Eve (Christina Kartchner), Aneesa (Megan Suri), Trent (Benjamin Norris), Prashant (Rushi Kota), Mr Kulkarni (Utkarsh Ambudkar) and Mr Shapiro (Adam Shapiro), also expected to turn up.
Plus Never Have I Ever simply wouldn't be the same without the real main man in Devi's life – tennis ace John McEnroe, who voices her inner monologue.
There's also a new face in the shape of 9-1-1 star Anirudh Pisharody, who will play recurring character Des, an Indian American teen who's as smart Devi but enters an elite private school (via Deadline).
Never Have I Ever season 3 plot: What will happen?
The stars finally aligned for Devi in the season two finale when she walked into the winter dance with Paxton after the pair made their relationship official.
Initially, he wanted to keep their late-night rendezvous a secret for fear of being judged by his peers for forgiving Devi for cheating on him, but that didn't fly with her and she walked away from him and his washboard abs.

Devi went to the dance without a man on her arm but after her date for the evening, Eleanor, was whisked off to the dance floor by Trent, she decided to head home.
Enter Paxton who, after knocking her over with his jeep (seriously, what is with these kids?), spilled his heart out and gave us a quintessential Hollywood ending, except that wasn't quite where season two wrapped up.
Right at the end, Eleanor told Ben that Devi had spent the past few weeks pining over him. She had been insanely jealous of Aneesa and at the relay, had done everything in her power to keep them apart.
"After you took her to Malibu, she wanted to choose you," said Eleanor. "Just for the record, it's not always been him."
Uh oh. Ben's face said it all: the boy was still totally into Devi.

It looks like the end is nigh for Ben and Aneesa but that doesn't necessarily mean Ben and Devi will pick up where they left off before their relationship fell apart. Paxton is now back on the scene and Devi is clearly besotted with him.
We delved right into all of that, and more, right here.
But teaser photos, released by Netflix, ahead of season three seem to show that there's going to be EVEN MORE drama ahead for Devi, her love life...
You can also expect season three to explore some deeper themes.
Co-creator Kaling told Elle that the new season will have a significantly personal angle.
"I lost a parent, and I think that grief and grieving is such a complicated thing and can take many forms, and we've loved the scenes between Devi and her father, played by Sendhil Ramamurthy, who's incredible," she explained.
"So I think the thing I'm most excited about is delving into their relationship, and how your relationship with your parents continues even when they pass away. We're excited to explore that.
"Also, she's just a funny character who is good in her heart but makes a lot of terrible decisions. I love seeing her do that as she approaches college, trying to apply for college and what that brings out in her."

Now that we know the show is ending with season four, we may start to see an overall endgame for the show start to play out in the new season.
