New World Twitch Drops: How To Unlock Vinespun Weapon Skins

New World is finally releasing on 28th September, after several delays, and to celebrate the occasion, Amazon Games are rewarding players with awesome Vinespun weapon skins.

As you probably know, Amazon owns Twitch, and it’s a no-brainer for Amazon Games to use Twitch Drops in order to promote New World. It obviously means more exposure for New World, more viewers for content creators who are incentivized to play New World, and a few nice and shiny rewards for players who watch streamers in order to unlock Vinespun weapon skins Twitch Drops.

If you want these skins, but you are not sure what you need to do in order to get them, here’s how you can get New World Vinespun weapon skins.

How to get New World Vinespun weapon skin set

As a part of the Battle for New World event during the closed beta, over 60 Twitch content creators across Europe and North America have participated in New World’s factions battles.

The participating content creators will now have New World Twitch Drops activated, and everyone who watches them over the next two weeks can unlock the Vinespun weapon skin set and use it in New World.

During the Opening Night Live event, players had a chance to earn the Verdant Trapper skin, and now New World Twitch Drops will reward you with the Vinespun weapon skin set.

To unlock the Vinespun weapon skin set, all you need to do is to watch at least an hour of any of these streamers while they are playing New World, starting from 27th September and until 11th October, and you will automatically receive a Twitch drop with the skin.

But before that, you will need to make sure that your Twitch and Steam accounts are connected.

Here’s how to link your Twitch and Steam account:

1. Sign in with your Twitch account
2. Sign in with your Steam account
3. Activate Twitch Drops for your Steam account

To check if everything is set up properly you can track your progress towards earning drops from the Twitch Drops Inventory page.

After you watch for at least an hour, the Vinespun weapon skin set Twitch Drop will appear in your Twitch Drops Inventory, go there and claim it.

The reward will then automatically be added to your connected Steam account and the next time you start New World, it will wait there for you!
