Newsmax

So as of last night I can no longer watch Newsmax, they have now made it subscription only even though it is in my channel line up and I have been watching it EVERY DAY. Want to explain the censorship xfinity?

All Xfinity customers can find Newsmax on channel 1115 or you can simply say "Newsmax" into your Xfinity Voice Remote. Please keep in mind this is now an IP channel. If you have checked that Newsmax is in your current channel lineup (found here: https://www.xfinity.com/learn/channel-lineup-bundles) and are still receiving an error or a "subscription required" message please start by resetting your television equipment. You can reset your television equipment by unplugging it from the power outlet for 30 seconds, plug back in, and retest. We also recommend checking your Internet connection as these are IP based channels. Doing a reset of your modem, which is the same process as resetting your television equipment, will likely help. If you continue to experience issues please let us know by responding to this thread.

Please note, that if you have an RNG150 device you will not be able to view this or other IP channels due to limitations with that equipment. We are happy to help get your equipment swapped for free if you reply to this thread.

@XfinityCrystal​ Why is Newsmax not working in Katy, TX? Did Xfinity cancel this channel? I would like a formal response from Xfinity.

Have you tried the solution that was presented earlier in the thread to see if that helped?

I no longer work for Comcast.

I'm ready to drop Comcast because I get Newsmax. Not one more penny of my money will go to Xfinity if this channel isn't dropped.
