No Glue Paper Book DIY - Red Ted Art - Kids Crafts

We love making Mini Notebooks from paper! And we particularly love the “no glue paper book” variety. Theya re super quick and easy to make. We recently shared some Emoji Notebooks made from one sheet of paper – they were a Kirigami paper craft – and they went down a treat. So we thought we would have a go at another No Glue Origami Notebook – again, this is technically a Kirigami activity (as some cutting is involved), but I am sure anyone enjoy origami for kids at the moment, will love this paper notebook craft too. I love that this one is REALLY CUTE and small AND that you can make it “two tone” – with a colourful cover and white sheets on the inside. We decorated ours as adorable Pokemon Characters, turning our no glue paper notebooks diy, into DIY Pokemon Notebooks. Just adorable!!! My kids are crazy about Pokemon Crafts (especially the Pokemon Paper Toys), so this is a perfect addition to our collection! (We have another Mini Notebook from One Sheet of Paper that you may love too!! Decorated super simply, but adorably!)

No Glue Paper Book – Materials:

• A4 sheet of coloured paper (this will make 4 covers)
• A4 sheet of white paper (this will make enough pages for either 2 or 4 booklets, depending on number of pages you want)
• Scissors

To turn them into Pokemon Notebook DIYs, you will also need:

• either assorted pens (to make it NO glue!)
• or if you wish, you can use a LITTLE glue and paper to decorate

It really is a matter of preference and the finish you would like to achieve. The book themselves are indeed “no glue notebook DIYs”, but if you want to decorate them, the way I have you will need a little glue stick too.

How to make No Glue Paper Book (Origami Notebooks):

Take a look at how easy it is to make these no glue paper books! We simple LOVE working with paper, as it is so incredibly versatile and there are SO MANY things you can turn it into (check out all our favourite Origami For Kids ideas.. as well as Paper Toys DIYs) and these mini notebooks are another such DIY. They are just so cute and would be a perfect dolls house addition (in fact you could make them EVEN SMALLER for a dolls house, how adorable would that be? DIY Dolls Notebooks! Wonderful. These mini books, could be for mini sketches, mini stories, or even turn them into a mini cartoon DIY!! So many uses for one simple craft.

As mentioned we decorated ours a Pokemon Notebooks, but of course, you can decorate them in whatever way you wish – you can leave them plain, you can add Pokemon details.. You could turn them into Emoji Notebooks, or cute Kawaii Notebooks. So many possibilities!
