Noel Gallagher admits he was real reason Oasis split up and fued with Liam started

Noel Gallagher revealed the real reason that Oasis split up and admitted that he was to blame.

Back in 2009, fans were devastated when the iconic band parted ways and many have pined for their return ever since.

But now, Noel has opened up about the real reason he and brother Liam called it quits and it was to do with clothing brands.

‌

Noel said their feud began after he was gifted clothes from Liam's brand Pretty Green - and he didn't like them, according to The Mirror.

Noel admitted that when he took the clothes from Liam's brand new line at the time and he dumped them instead of wearing them, which caused drama between the brothers.

The 54-year-old confessed that Liam hit the roof when he found out he had donated the outfits to a charity shop a month before the brand launched in 2006.

He told The Sun : "Liam gave us a load of clobber, not just me, he gave the band it.

"I went straight to the charity shop and left it in the shop doorway.

"He went f****** mental. He said, ‘If you didn’t f****** want it, you should have just said you didn’t f****** want it, you c***.

"It was on the shop mannequin in Barnardo’s a month before it launched. If push comes to shove, that was the beginning of the end.”

In the past, Noel has blamed the band's split on his brother. The Wonderwall stars were together for 18 years and landed eight number one singles from their seven albums.

Noel's comments come a month after he paid his brother a rare compliment.

The pair have been at loggerheads since they went their separate ways but Noel has now discussed how his brother helped make the band what it was.

"I guess it’s no coincidence that as that is the band at its peak, it is because the singer is at his peak," he said.

"You are only as good as your frontline. Any band. And if that is Oasis at its peak, which it is [Knebworth gig], it is because Liam is at its peak.

"Liam is at his zenith with his voice and the way that he looks.”

He also opened up about how a fan once punched him on stage.

In the unearthed clip, he told how a fan jumped on stage and hit him, leaving "blood everywhere".

When he was asked why the fan did so, Noel said: "It was actually because he found out I was sleeping with his girlfriend."

To which Liam nonchalantly adds: "Was it? Nice one," before reaching for his drink.
