Join us in celebrating NP achievements and advocating for the continued growth and recognition of the profession.

This year (8–14 December) marks a very special milestone, 25 years of Nurse Practitioner care in Australia. From the first trailblazing NPs to the 3100 plus NPs now leading the way across every corner of the health system, our profession continues to grow from strength to strength.

NP Week is a time to come together, recognise our achievements, and celebrate the impact Nurse Practitioners have made in delivering experienced and expert care. It’s also an opportunity to connect, reflect, and look to the future of NP leadership.

This NP Week we want everyone to get involved and host their own celebration!

It's the perfect time to bring your team, colleagues and NP friends together for morning tea, a BBQ, party or even a picnic in a park! There’s no wrong way to celebrate, big or small, every gathering is a way to recognise 25 years of Nurse Practitioner care and the strength of our incredible community. We want to help you make your NP Week event go off with a bang! Let everyone know you’re part of the NP Week festivities with our downloadable posters, bunting and other fun resources.
