Although it would've been much better if they made the anime 20 mins long so that it would give time for the people who haven't played the game to fall inlove with the characters. (And also for Satan and Lucifer to get more screentime LMAO) But, overall, I did enjoy the show and some episodes were actually in the actual story of the game so it was fun watching it get animated. 10/10 would recommend the game so that y'all could see more of our demon hotties ;) (and ... the other hot side characters that were only shown in ep 12 !!) This anime is an adaptation from an Otome Game. We all knew that it wouldn’t be a masterpiece but it still exceeded my expectations. Everything was fine. Just average. It isn’t good but there’s also nothing wrong with it. It’s just cute boys doing cute things and I think that it was the right thing to do. There was no female protagonist with her harem which would have made it much worse. I don’t regret watching it but I wouldn’t watch it again. But this... to be hearing this quality of voice acting in a supposedly professional made animation is just.... not entirely tolerable. I love otome games, especially if they are a bit dark. I wanted to play Obey Me for a while but I didn't have a time to yet, so when I notice it has anime I just went and watch it just to see how is the vibe ... and everything, the idea of making 7 princes of hell to be love interest is interesting to me, but turns out it is just mediocre, some of them are just not lazy enough or angry enough, but whatever. There is nothing wrong with it being typical otoge with typical mediocre characters. The art and story is okay, the art is actually pretty good, everyone looks handsome whatsoever, but there is one thing that bothers me. The voice acting. For something that came from otoge, something that has women and girls as the target audience, having bad VA quality is very strange. They're so bad I almost feel bad for them, like, what is going on? I never play the game so I don't know if the characters have voice actors in the game, if they are the same voice actors in the game and in the anime, then I guess it is fine.. but if not then, what's wrong here? otome audience usually consider VA to be important which is why drama CD is popular among this demographic, knowing this they went and chose the worst VA I have ever heard in anime. It is unbelievable. The voice actors are obviously new comers and probably are chosen so they can have more opportunity in the future, but damn. I feel so bad honestly, but I can't lie, the quality is bad. I hope they improve in the future, and I wish them the best. But with this, it's clearly visible that this 5 minutes adapted from mobile otoge anime is not important enough of a project to have decent voice actors.
