BALTIMORE (WBFF/WJLA) - Dramatic videos shared on social media Sunday captured a fireworks incident on the beach in Ocean City.
Ocean City Fire Department confirmed "there was an unintentional discharge of fireworks that were being set up on the beach for the Town's fireworks show," near Dorchester Street.
The fireworks have been cancelled in the town for tonight, confirmed State Highway Administration.

One employee of the fireworks company suffered minor injuries and was taken to the hospital. No one else was injured, the fire department said.
Fire Chief Richie Bowers said in a statement:
Our Fire Marshals are on the scene and will investigate the cause of the unintentional discharge. Prior to the fireworks being off loaded from the vehicle, Fire Marshal's secure a safe zone around the fireworks and put other safety protocols in place. It is this very zone and safety protocols that kept anyone else from being injured.
The Maryland State Fire Marshal's office said they are also investigating.
Gov. Larry Hogan's office said the administration, Maryland State Police and Maryland Emergency Management Agency have offered help if needed.
