What time is check-in and check-out?
Check in time is 3:00 pm; check out time is 11:00 am.
If you can share your flight information with our staff prior to arrival we will work towards minimizing any wait for check in upon arrival. If we are unable to provide an early check in or late check out, please note we have a complimentary Hospitality Suite available for guest use. This suite has lockers and showers available for guests to freshen up upon their arrival or prior to departure.
What is the smoking policy?
Halekulani is a non-smoking facility. Smoking and the use of e-cigarettes are prohibited in all guest rooms and guest room lanais. If it is determined that smoking has taken place in the rooms or suites, a cleaning fee will be charged and placed on the guest account prior to check-out.
There is a designated smoking area located next to the Gatehouse waterfall adjacent to the front entrance of the hotel. All other areas of the hotel are prohibited by Hawaii State Law.
What credit cards are accepted?
All major Credit Cards are accepted. Mobile payments are not accepted.
What are the hotel taxes?
All guestroom and suite rates are subject to the prevailing Hawaii State General Excise Tax at 4.712%, Hawaii Transient Accommodations Tax at 11% and Oahu Transient Accommodations Tax at 3% (combined rate of 18.712%). Tax rates are subject to change without notice from the State of Hawaii and the City & County of Honolulu.
How can I connect to the Internet?
Wi-Fi is complimentary and very easy at Halekulani. When you open a browser while on property on either your laptop or mobile phone, a window will appear with a button to click to allow your device to access the wifi connection.
What is the maximum number of guests in a room?
- Room rates are based on single or double occupancy.
- The maximum occupancy per guest room is four people, using the existing bedding.
- Occupancy combinations can be: o Two adults and two children o Three adults and one child o One adult and three children
- At least one adult is required to stay in any guest room where children under 18 years are present.
- No extra bedding will be provided. There is no additional charge for children under 18 years.
- A maximum of one infant crib may be added to the room reservation at no charge, at the hotel’s discretion.
Can I guarantee my reservation?
To guarantee reservations, a credit card guarantee is required at the time of booking the reservation. Cancellations received within seventy-two (72) hours prior to arrival or non-arriving guests will be assessed a one-night’s room charge with applicable taxes.
