Executive Advisory Council

HB 1349 by Rep. Fetgatter and Sen. Garvin created the Oklahoma Medical Marijuana Authority Executive Advisory Council (OMMA EAC) to provide recommendations regarding changes to state policy, rules or statutes.

Learn More

Rules & Regulations

Oklahoma’s medical marijuana statutes are the foundation of OMMA’s regulatory and licensing authority, including OMMA's rules. Oklahoma voters approved the original version of those statutes with State Question 788 in 2018.

Recalls

OMMA can order embargoes. OMMA-licensed businesses can issue voluntary recalls, and OMMA can also ask businesses to issue them. In the event of an embargo, a hold is placed in the State's inventory tracking system, Metrc, and products included will be shown in red. Metrc automatically prevents the business from selling or transferring those products. State laws and OMMA rules require the businesses to provide notice to patients who bought recalled products.

Submit a Business Complaint

Complaints about medical marijuana businesses are reviewed by OMMA's Office of Investigation and Enforcement (OIE). Compliance inspectors and/or law enforcement officers may follow up on complaints for further investigation.
