Oldsmar Florida - Attractions & Things To Do In Oldsmar FL

Situated on Old Tampa Bay about 10 miles east of Clearwater, Oldsmar is a small city dripping with Southern charm that offers easy access to the world-class beaches, parks, and attractions of West Central Florida, many of which are no more than 25 minutes away.

Though close to the urban areas of Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Clearwater, Oldsmar is unique in that it has more parks per square mile than any other city in Florida. Spanning nearly 400 acres, Mobbly Bayou Wilderness Preserve offers hiking, paddling, fishing, and a dog park as well as zip-lining with Empower Adventures. At Mobbly Beach Park, visitors can enjoy an uncrowded family-friendly beach and pristine natural surroundings. The Oldsmar Trail stretches more than 10 miles and connects the city’s major parks.

Oldsmar’s diverse culinary scene offers an array of dining options, from ramen, pho, and small plates at Wooden Ladle to drinks, seafood, and burgers at the trendy Salt Rock Tavern to coastal fare and live music on the waterfront at Jack Willie’s Bar, Grill & Tiki.

The Oldsmar area is home to the Tampa Bay Downs horse racing, poker, and golf complex in addition to other sports venues, including BMX Supercross Track, BOLTSMAR Hockey Rink, and Tampa Bay Skating Academy. Bargain hunters won’t be able to resist the allure of the Oldsmar Flea Market, known as “the largest flea market in the South,” and Countryside Mall can be found just five miles west of Oldsmar.
