HOW TO DIP

NuGenesis Color Ombre

Step-by-step instruction video by NuGenesis on how to color ombre nails.

 

 

 

Product used:

• Prep liquid #1
• Base Gel #2
• Activator #3
• Finish Gel #4
• Natural Base
• Crystal Clear
• NU-80
• NU-165

• Cuticle oil
• Soft brush
• 180 grit file
• 180 grit buffer
• Fine burr bit
• Fine diamond bit
• E-file

Refer to extension application video for previous instructions.

1. Apply Prep Liquid #1 to all 10 nails.
2. Working with 1 nail at a time, apply a thin coat of Base Gel #2 to 100% of nail. Quickly dip into NU-80 once.  Tap off excess product immediately. Use a soft brush to remove any additional excess powder. Quickly dip your ombre brush into NU-165 then brush pigment onto the nails starting at the tip.  
3. Working with 1 nail at a time, apply a thin coat of Base Gel #2 to 100% of natural nail. Quickly dip into Crystal Clear powder once.  Tap off excess product immediately. 
4. Use a soft brush to remove any additional excess powder.
5. Working on all 10 nails, apply a final thin application of Activator #3.
6. Shape nails with 180 grits file and refine nails with fine diamond bit.  Buff with 180 grits buffer to smooth. 
7. Use a soft brush to remove any additional excess powder.
8. Apply Activator #3 to all 10 nails.  
9. Instruct your client to wash their hands. 
10. Use a lint free wipe to wipe the nails free of dust.
11. Apply 2 coats of Finish Gel #4.
12. Wait 2 minutes to dry and apply cuticle oil.
