How can I experience the music of the Choir?

Can I attend the live performance of Music & the Spoken Word? Yes! Everyone is welcome to attend the live broadcast of Music & the Spoken Word each Sunday morning on Temple Square.Admission is free for guests ages 8 and older. Doors open at 8:15 a.m., and guests should be seated by 9:15 a.m., when doors close. The live broadcast lasts 30 minutes and concludes at 10:00 a.m.Click here for more details.Guests are encouraged to arrive early to allow time for parking, security screening, and seating. Accessible seating is available, and our volunteer team is happy to assist upon arrival. Are Choir rehearsals open to the public? Yes. Visitors are welcome to attend a Tabernacle Choir rehearsal each Thursday evening from 7:30 to 9:30 p.m.Click here for more details.Rehearsals are typically held in the Tabernacle, though they may occasionally be moved to the Conference Center. Seating is general admission, and guests are encouraged to arrive early for the best experience. Accessibility accommodations are available. Is there a daily organ recital at the Tabernacle? Yes! A beloved tradition for more than a century, daily organ recitals are open to the public and performed by Tabernacle and Temple Square organists, as well as guest organists.Thirty-minute recitals are held:
  • Monday–Saturday at 12:00 p.m. in the Tabernacle
  • Sundays at 2:00 p.m. in the Tabernacle
