One Punch Man is one of the most popular anime shows on Netflix. The series follows the story of Saitama, a hero from the metropolis of City-Z who performs heroic acts for fun. Saitama trained himself to have the strongest punch on the planet, and he can easily defeat any opponent with a single punch.

The series follows Saitama’s quest for a challenge as he encounters various superheroes, villains, monsters, and he becomes a mentor to cyborg, Genos. One created the original online manga to portray a different side of the superhero story. He wanted to portray a superhero with immense power but beset with normal problems such as lack of money.

Will One Punch Man Season 2 come to Netflix?

Viz Media released season 2 of One Punch Man on 9th April 2019 on Hulu. The series is available for Japanese viewers on Crunchyroll.

Viz Media has exclusive rights to all One Punch Man content. It is for them to decide whether they will license Netflix to stream the 2nd series. One Punch Man season 2 is currently available in Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, South Korea, and Thailand. All other regions still have one season.

Given the popularity of the anime series, the 2nd season will likely come to Netflix eventually. However, it might take some time before that happens. It took two years for the first season to appear on Netflix for US and Canada viewers. UK viewers had to wait three years to watch Saitama on Netflix.
