FUN WITH WATERCOLOURS! INTRO; Virtual-Adult

Explore the world of watercolour in a relaxed, creative setting! We’ll cover essential techniques and mix in some unexpected ones too! We will experiment with both traditional and abstract approaches in this course. Each step-by-step lesson is designed to spark your imagination and help you express your own artistic voice. Whether you’re just starting out or looking to loosen up and play with new ideas, this class is all about enjoying the process while learning how to use this beautiful medium. Treat Yourself: A Valentine’s Paint Workshop, 14+ yrs & adults

Skip the roses, paint instead! This one-day acrylic workshop is all about treating yourself (and maybe your special someone) to creativity. Follow along step-by-step as we create a vibrant painting perfect for Valentine’s or any day you need a little colour and care. Beginners welcome. Lesson recordings are available to view for 7 days after each lesson for those who miss or wish to review a lesson. Offered online via Zoom with Dovercourt Recreation.

Materials: Pencil, Stretched Canvas or Canvas Board (approximately 8×10″ or larger), Acrylic paints (Red, Yellow, Blue, White and Black), Acrylic paint brushes (suggested: small and medium to large round brushes), container of water, paper towels or rags, mixing palette, scrap paper.
