And then I watched it and it was sooooo lame. Burke didn't even seem like Burke.     Yes, I thought he was coming back in the picture for Christina. So shitty of him to be in just one episode.

    Burke seemed like how I imagined he would be after leaving her at the wedding (still arrogant...). I actually liked the episode...just going to miss having Christina on the show. She is one of my favorite characters... not sure where it's headed now.

  • tTeTeGinnis Posted 05-03-14I just watched the episode last night, and at first I was disappointed. Burke seemed awkward in his speech at first and of course him being married sucked. Now, I think it worked. He left her, crushed her, but then told her how much he loved her and his apology was saying how great she has become and giving her the hospital. She's not mushy like Owen, so I think it fit her and his relationship style perfectly. Now don't get me wrong, it would have been great if he came back to get her! But not this time...
  • aAVassallo Posted 05-03-14I like that Burke admitted that he loved her so much that she would be his downfall..that's his apology. But I didn't want her back with him!! I prefer Owen by far :) gonna miss those 2 together :(
  • bbutlerwen Posted 05-03-14I was hoping for some more emotions about the split at the alter and a bit more of how that felt after. I was shocked that he got married but he did admit that she would be his downfall because of his love for her. Clearly she was his true love. I did like how she "gave" it to him when she said he didn't know her anymore. I'm not sure what I was hoping for out of them but I did feel a bit disappointed.
  • hHokiepokiebaby Group OwnerPosted 05-03-14I liked it! It was touching. But did anyone else hear burke's lisp???? It really bothered me. Isaiah Washington has never had a lisp before so I'm wondering what's up with that. Or maybe it's because my ears have been popping weird this pregnancy?
