(Warren) the chinese and japanese written language share certain characters... the two in Mugen being an example... sometimes they sound the same and mean the same thing.... and sometimes when you put together the way they are used in japanese and try to read them as chinese they come out as confusing nonsense... (Ross1013) Ross is right. Kanji are Chinese characters but the Japanese have adapted them into their language. There are two pronunciations "On Yomi" and "Kun Yomi" readings and the combos depend on what context. Then they have the Hiragana and the katakana as well. Therefore, –³ = mu in JDM –³ = mo in CHDM ŒÀ = han in CHDM ŒÀ = gen in JDM There maybe some words in JDM that use CHDM pronunciations but I dun have my JDM dictionary to help me now. -AoiB0t, who can't get JDM IME to work on his Win2k machine.
