CFE4130 C I have a P2647 - Rocker Arm Oil Pressure sensor. Check engine oil level, oil condition and pressure Faulty Variable Valve Timing and Lift Electronic Control (VTEC) / Rocker Arm Oil Pressure Switch VTEC/Rocker Arm Oil Pressure Switch harness is open or shorted VTEC/Rocker Arm Oil Pressure Switch circuit poor electrical connection The day before this started, I ran half a bottle of seafoam through the brake booster. Since this code came up, I have removed the VTEC solenoid and cleaned the screen filter which had some gunk. I also changed the oil yesterday. I reset the codes and drove to the dealership (7 miles) and it was fine. When I left the dealer ship it came back right away. I can turn the car off and when I restart, the check engine light will be on. However, it will drive fine for a few miles and other lights (VSA and triangle with exclamation point) will pop up and go into limp mode. I need some help on figuring this out. #1 · Feb 5, 2018 I have a P2647 - Rocker Arm Oil Pressure sensor. If so I would be tempted to start by replacing the filter those cars have for the VCM system. If blocked, pressure is reduced triggering the code. #3 · Feb 6, 2018 Yes, it's FWD. Is this the filter you are referring too? https://www.partsgeek.com/gbproduct...ARGtrS_YNDtpBz0MwcOb8e735gkBLgXbYkXsyev4YEOjBrim24BoCMPoQAvD_BwE&ad=47433967692 If so, I changed it a couple of weeks ago. After I got the CEL this past weekend, I removed and cleaned it. 0 Reply #4 · Feb 6, 2018 (Edited) I'd rather it reference the Pilot not the ody: https://www.hondaautomotiveparts.co...assy-spool-valve-15826rdvj01?c=Zz1lbmdpbmUmcz1yZWFyLWN5bGluZGVyLWhlYWQtMDYtMndk #11 But sounds like that part's addressed. So plug the OBD2 code into the search feature. Its come up before. #5 · Feb 7, 2018 Yesterday, I ordered what I believe is the VTEC oil pressure switch #37260-PZA-003. The dealer wanted $250, but I ordered it on eBay for $25. When I got home, I took the VTEC solenoid off and completely dismantled and cleaned the entire things with carb cleaner. The screen had a little bit of stuff on it. I drove a few miles for the engine to warm up, turned it off, back on, and drove a few more miles - this is usually what would set it off, but it was fine. I drove it to work this morning (20 miles) and it was fine. Fingers crossed that it stays this way. #6 · Feb 10, 2018 Experienced this issue the past week. CEL & VSA indicator 1: Replaced battery-needed a new one 2: Changed oil & filter 3: Pulled oil sender @ filter (Good) 4: Pulled Oil Sensor Switch @ solenoid (Good) 5: No CEL/VSA for 72 hours now. Flow Honda wanted $660 for VTEC Solenoid plus labor for total of $890, truly defining the term Stealership Ebay: OEM Honda VTEC Solenoid=$350 OEM VTEC gasket set=$25 Would like to know how often they pilfer the unsuspecting soul to fix this problem that can be remedied with total parts replacement is less than 1 hour. #7 · Feb 10, 2018

:surprise: Links to the ones you got? 0 Reply #8 · Feb 12, 2018 Well it came back after driving for a few days. My oil level was 1/2 quart high. My friend suggested doing an oil flush, which I did last night. Now the oil level it right where it should be. Maybe the flush removed some sludge that had built up (I just bought it). It was fine driving to work this morning. #9 · Dec 10, 2018 Resurrecting an old thread. New user old problem that showed up this morning on 4wd 2007 lx What's the location of the following oil sender @ filter Pulled Oil Sensor Switch @ solenoid Insert Quotes Post Reply
