Tommy Lee's career

Tommy Lee - real name Thomas Lee Bass - is the founder and drummer of heavy metal band Mötley Crüe. He later founded rap metal band Methods of Mayhem, before pursuing solo music projects. In 2014, Mötley Crüe went on a farewell tour, and legally agreed to never tour under the Mötley Crüe moniker again unless all members were involved.

He has also dabbled in acting; in 2013 he guest-starred as Professor Lee in The Goldbergs, and in October 2020 he played the Devil in four episodes of Halloween in Hell, a fictionalised musical horror podcast, alongside Machine Gun Kelly. His third solo studio album, Andro, was released in 2020.

Tommy Lee has been married four times - his first wife was Elaine Starchuk between 1984 and 1985. His second was an actress, Heather Locklear, who he married in 1986, though the pair got divorced in 1993.

Four days after meeting in February 1995, Tommy married Pamela Anderson, and the pair have two sons together: Brandon Thomas Lee (born June 5, 1996) and Dylan Jagger Lee (born December 29, 1997). The couple divorced in 1998, though they briefly got together again in 2001 and 2008.

In February 2018, Tommy proposed to social media influencer Brittany Furlan, and the pair got married on 14 February 2019.

Talking about the relationship, Brittany told Fox News, "We met online, but we knew about each other for years. He used to watch my Vine videos—he was one of my followers, and obviously, I loved his music. I was a Methods of Mayhem fan and Mötley Crüe fan."

In 2020, the rockstar told Entertainment Tonight he is now sober after years of drinking “gallons of vodka” on the regular. "I feel killer, I feel really good," he said. "I consider myself lucky because some people don't have that sense, or luxury, of sort of looking in the mirror and going, 'OK dude, time to pump the breaks. Like, this is too much.'"

What has Tommy Lee said about Pam & Tommy?

In September 2021, Tommy revealed he was "stoked" about Pam & Tommy, telling Entertainment Tonight, "I know Sebastian, he’s playing me. From what he’s told me, really beautiful story. I think a lot of people would think it’s one thing, but it’s really about privacy and how things got crazy then. There’s different laws now."

On that period of his life, he continued, "The story’s actually cool. What actually happened wasn’t, but [Stan] tells me it’s pretty wild. I feel like it was forever ago. But it’s a cool story and people need to know. It’s cool. I’m stoked."
