LAS VEGAS (KSNV) — A star from the Las Vegas reality TV show "Pawn Stars" was arrested during a sexual assault investigation Wednesday. Officers raided his home and discovered illegal substances.

Fans of the show are shocked, after learning "Chumlee," whose real name is Austin Lee Russell, was taken into custody.

"It's kind of hard to believe. He seems like a normal person. It's just a little crazy," said Javier Acosta.

While Metro police raided Russell's home, officers found several illegal substances, including marijuana, meth and firearms.

"I really hope he's going to be able to get back on the show. It's going to be a drag if he has to go to prison for a while," said Ryan Loreno.

This is not Russell's first run-in with the law. He was arrested back in 2008 for loitering for prostitution.

Reality star boss Rick Harrison responded with a statement.

"We don't have details yet, but are here to help Chumlee however we can," said Harrison.

As for Chumlee's fans, they send him well wishes.

"We love you. Get clean. Come back to the show," said Acosta.

"Just get him rehab and trying to do better. He seems like he's a good guy. Get his life on track and do the best thing he could do for himself," said Loreno.

Russell remains at Clark County Detention Center. His bail is set at $62,000.
