Trivia[]

  • Pawniard

Etymology[]

Pawniard may be a combination of pawn, the lowest piece in chess and poniard, a lightweight dagger.

Origin[]

Pawniard is based on traditional Japanese bandits, being the lackeys for Bisharp. The addition of Kinglaive also gives the line a piece of mobster inspiration, with groups of Pawniard loyal to the underboss Bisharp, with all being ruled over by a Kinglaive.
