Peach State pride (because we basically invented them).

Peaches were first grown in Georgia during the Colonial period. After the Civil War, Georgia peach growers developed superior new varieties that boosted the commercial peach industry and made Georgia the “Peach State.”

Peaches are sweet, delicious and only 60 calories on average. They’re also available only about 12 weeks each year (mid-May – early August). So, when it’s peach season, fill up on your favorite fuzzy fruit before they’re gone.
