The Issue

Scott Thompson was with KOTV for 28 years. He won many awards and numerous Emmy awards for his exemplary journalism. He dedicated his career to helping the people of Tulsa and his KOTV family. After 28 years of hard dedication he was rewarded with KOTV not renewing his contract without explanation. Many people have reached out to KOTV and Griffin Comm for an explanation but they refuse to respond with anything reasonable. The only indirect response we have received from KOTV was it was, "from time to time, a change is necessary, we decided to not renew Scott's contract."  We need to #standwithscottthompson and get a resonable explanation for their actions. Scott has sacrificed so much for the Tulsa community, nows the time to fight for Scott.
