Biography

Born on May 22, 2004 to Andrew Tinpo Lee and Jennifer Dormer Lee, Lee’s first onstage role was as narrator of her first grade play, “The 3 Piggy Opera”. She has since been cast in several national commercials including Carnival Cruise Lines, Sprint and Petco. Her television credits include ABC’s Scandal and Shameless. Andi Mack is Lee’s first lead role. She is the voice of Rani in The Lion Guard.

Lee has a great passion for dance and received formal training for several years. She studied many forms of dance including African, tap, flamenco, contemporary and her favorite — ballet.

Originally from New York City, she and her family moved to Manhattan Beach, California when she was 10. In her spare time, Lee enjoys reading and baking cakes. She’s an “A” student who has recently started learning Mandarin.

• Her first post-Andi role will be as "Princess Sam,:"  in the Disney+ Original Movie,  Secret Society of Second Born Royals.
• She is the fourth Disney star whose name is "Peyton" and the second female, the other three are Peyton List from JESSIE, Peyton Meyer from Girl Meets World andPeytonClark from I Didn't Do It.
• Her father, Andrew Tinpo Lee, guest starred as Nicky the mailman in The Ex Factor.
• She is half Chinese on her father's side.
• She has an older sister and a younger brother.
• She and Sofia Wylie are the only actors from the cast that have continued to work with Disney after wrapping up Andi Mack.
  • Although, this changed when Asher Angel briefly made an appearance on High School Musical: The Musical: The Series in Season 2.
